YOUR SKINCARE PLAN
PHASE ONE
To keep the skin barrier strong and healthy
To improve hydration, texture and overall glow
To support ageing skin gently without overloading it
To prepare the skin for your son’s wedding in October
To safely manage the seborrhoeic keratosis now it has been confirmed as benign
To build a routine that feels realistic and not like another full-time job
Because you have a history of breast cancer and have previously been on hormone therapy, we are not going to be doing anything that tries to “push hormones” or interfere with that side of things. The focus here is skin health, barrier support, inflammation control, sleep, stress and consistency.

YOUR SUPPLEMENTS
Here is a list of your recommended supplements. These may be general suggestions before your blood test results, in which case they will update to be more specific once your results come through.
For supplements, I want to keep this really simple for you.
Because of your breast cancer history and the fact you were on Tamoxifen for 5 years, I am not going to recommend anything that tries to balance hormones, support oestrogen or push the body hormonally.
Even though you are medication free now, I still want to be respectful of what your body has been through and keep this plan very safe and supportive.
So the four I would focus on are omega 3, magnesium glycinate, vitamin D and bovine collagen powder.
Omega 3 is to support inflammation, skin barrier health, dryness and skin comfort. It gives the skin the healthy fats it needs to function better and can be especially helpful if the skin is feeling dry, dull or less resilient.
Magnesium glycinate is mainly for sleep, stress and nervous system support. Your sleep is sitting around 5-6 hours and stress is medium to high, so this is something I would like to support gently. Better sleep and a calmer nervous system will always show in the skin.
Vitamin D is a good foundational supplement, especially living in Scotland. It supports immune health, mood, muscles, bones and general wellbeing. With your history of hormone therapy, I also want to make sure your basic nutrient support is strong, especially for things like bone health.
Bovine collagen powder is there to support skin structure, firmness, elasticity and repair. It is not a magic anti-ageing fix, but used consistently it can be a nice support for skin quality, especially alongside enough protein, vitamin C, SPF and the correct skincare.
So nothing hormone based.
Nothing that tries to interfere with oestrogen.
Just simple, steady support for your skin, sleep, stress, barrier and overall skin goals!
