PURCHASES & PAYMENTS
When purchasing a product or booking a service, you agree that:
a. You are responsible for reviewing all product and service information before making a purchase.
b. By completing checkout and payment, you are entering into a legally binding agreement to purchase the selected product or service.
c. All prices are listed in GBP (£) and may be changed at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors where necessary.
PRODUCT POLICY
At The Skin Specialist Scotland, due to hygiene, safety, and the professional nature of our products, all skincare product sales are final.
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns on skincare products unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.
FAULTY PRODUCTS
a. If you believe you have received a faulty product, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order via email, including proof of purchase and details of the fault.
b. Faulty products must be returned in their original packaging where possible.
c. Once the product has been inspected and confirmed as faulty, we will offer either:
• A replacement product, or
• A refund to the original payment method.
d. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed faulty.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:
• Opened or used skincare products
• Products purchased incorrectly by the customer
• Change of mind purchases
• Gift cards or vouchers
DEPOSITS
a. Deposits are required to secure appointments, treatments, programmes, or consultations.
b. All deposits paid to The Skin Specialist Scotland are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
c. By booking an appointment or service, you acknowledge and agree that deposits will not be refunded under any circumstances, including cancellation, rescheduling, non-attendance, change of mind, or failure to proceed with treatment.
d. Deposit amounts may be deducted from the final treatment balance where applicable.
TREATMENTS, SERVICES & ONLINE PROGRAMMES
a. All treatments, services, online programmes, consultations, memberships, treatment courses, digital resources, and deposits purchased through The Skin Specialist Scotland are non-refundable unless required under applicable consumer law.
b. By purchasing or booking any service, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be provided for:
• Change of mind
• Failure to attend appointments
• Partially used programmes or treatment packages
• Dissatisfaction where agreed services have been delivered
• Failure to follow professional advice, skincare recommendations, or treatment plans
• Online programmes, consultations, protocols, digital support, or educational content once delivered
c. Results from skincare treatments and online support vary from person to person. The Skin Specialist Scotland does not guarantee specific results or outcomes.
d. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant medical information, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, and skin conditions before treatment or consultation.
e. We reserve the right to refuse treatment or terminate services where deemed unsuitable, unsafe, abusive, or outside of our professional scope.
f. Missed appointments, late cancellations, or failure to complete programmes do not qualify for refunds, transfers, or credits unless otherwise agreed in writing.
g. In exceptional circumstances where a refund is considered at our discretion, this does not create an obligation to provide refunds in future cases.
CANCELLATION POLICY
a. We kindly ask for adequate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
b. Deposits remain non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of cancellation notice provided.
c. Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may result in refusal of future bookings.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
a. The information provided on this website, social media platforms, consultations, or within treatments is for general skincare guidance and educational purposes only and does not replace medical advice.
b. The Skin Specialist Scotland shall not be held liable for:
• Adverse reactions to products or treatments
• Allergic reactions
• Misuse of products
• Failure to follow aftercare advice
• Individual treatment outcomes
c. Clients are responsible for carrying out patch testing where advised and for following all aftercare instructions provided.
d. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service purchased.
e. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
WEBSITE & SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website, services, treatments, pricing, or product offerings at any time without prior notice.
